Rio 2016 Olympics: An inside look at how Team Canada exceeded expectations and the road ahead for Pyeongchang Rio 2016 marked a watershed moment for Team Canada. The unqualified success of Team Canada and its athletes at the Summer Games represents a new dawn for sport in this country. For a number of years, the Canadian Olympic Committee has worked to establish an economic foundation that will provide our athletes with the opportunity for continued success. Chris Overholt, Chief Executive Officer of the COC and a few very special guests from Team Canada, provide a behind the scenes look at what made Rio 2016 the most significant Olympic Games for this country since Vancouver 2010, and outlines the COC’s vision for the next chapter of sport in Canada.
