Karin has over 25 years of investment banking and capital markets experience. She began her career at RBC in London, England where she worked in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions before returning to Toronto in 1999. In early 2003, she made the move to BMO Capital Markets where she spent more than 20 years, most recently as a Managing Director in Global Equities, providing senior coverage to institutional clients including pension funds, mutual funds, and private investment counsels. She holds an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, including an internship in France and a term with a joint Kellogg/Wharton/Chulalongkorn University business program in Thailand.
In recent years, Karin has volunteered her time for a number of community organizations including Bridgepoint Foundation (organizing committee for The Great Jewelry Heist) and Sinai Health Foundation (organizing committee for Hold ‘Em For Life). She has served as a mentor through Women in Capital Markets and through BMO Capital Markets. A big believer in the importance of parental involvement in education, Karin is also an active volunteer at The Bishop Strachan School.
The role of which Karin is most proud is that of mother to her two incredible daughters.
