Cementing Our Future: Unlocking Ontario’s Next Era of Prosperity Through Transportation Infrastructure

Hybrid

Tuesday, November 10, 2026

Ontario’s growth has always been built on connections. From our highways and transit networks to bridges, ports, and our trade corridors, transportation infrastructure is foundational to enabling our communities to thrive, businesses to expand, and new opportunities to emerge.

On November 10th, join Ontario’s Minister of Transportation, Hon. Prabmeet Sarkaria, for a keynote address and fireside chat at the Empire Club of Canada, “Cementing Our Future: Unlocking Ontario’s Next Era of Prosperity Through Transportation Infrastructure.” In this timely discussion, Minister Sarkaria will outline the province’s vision for building the transportation networks required to unleash Ontario’s next generation of growth, prosperity, and economic resiliency.

Whether it’s to advance housing development, strengthen supply chains, attract investment, create jobs, unlock our critical minerals, or support emerging industries, transportation infrastructure is the vital first step that enables our growth. Every major provincial priority depends on the ability to move Ontario’s people, goods, and services efficiently, safely, and reliably. As Ontario continues to grow at a historic pace, strategic investments in transportation will be critical to connecting workers to jobs, families to housing, businesses to markets, and communities to new opportunities.

This event will explore how Ontario’s transportation infrastructure investments are helping to lay the groundwork for a stronger, more competitive, and more prosperous future, ensuring the province remains a place where people, businesses, and new industries can succeed for generations to come.
